Program Description: 

This session of the conference will address eye disease and the tropics.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for optometrists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Recognize signs of potential terrorist threats and potential exposure to biological and radiological agents
  2. Understand the signs and symptoms of the most common mosquito-transmitted diseases of tropical regions
  3. Demonstrate proper emergency management protocol, disease containment practices, and use of proper personal protective equipment
