TSOTSL: Eye Disease and the Tropics
Program Description:
This session of the conference will address eye disease and the tropics.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for optometrists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Recognize signs of potential terrorist threats and potential exposure to biological and radiological agents
- Understand the signs and symptoms of the most common mosquito-transmitted diseases of tropical regions
- Demonstrate proper emergency management protocol, disease containment practices, and use of proper personal protective equipment
