Program Description
This activity hosted by the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence (TBICoE) and the Vision Center of Excellence (VCE) will explore current initiatives within the Warfighter Vision Health Plan. Presenters will discuss the Warfighter Vision Health Plan (WVHP) and efforts aligned with preventing and minimizing the impact of traumatic brain injury on vision and explore the roles of Ocular Trauma Centers and Vision Care Services Coordinators. Available resources from the VCE and TBICoE to support these initiatives will be reviewed.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurses, Optometrists, Psychologists and Social Workers. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

- Appraise the role of Ocular Trauma Centers.
- Explain how the VCE’s Vision Care Services Coordinators can be of assistance.
- Outline the Warfighter Vision Health Project (WVHP).
