Substance Use Disorders Clinical Care Training
Program Description
Substance Use Disorders Clinical Care (SUDCC) has undergone and continues to undergo formidable change to the way substance use care is delivered within the military healthcare system. SUDCC continues to evolve into a full spectrum treatment for people suffering from Substance Use Disorders and dual diagnosis. This evolution includes a dissolvent of SUDCC as a stand-alone or separate clinic and instead an integration of SUD specialists within multi-disciplinary behavioral health teams. With these changes comes new policies, rules, procedures and monitoring/tracking systems. This training will be used to educate all staff involved in Substance Use Disorders care in the Military Treatment Facilities in Europe on the newest SOP manual, evidence-based practices, legal and ethical issues specific to SUD care, and best practices for carrying out the mission as it stands today.
