Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of Physicians, Nurses, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Physician Assistants, Optometrists, Social Workers, Psychologists, Counselors, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Kinesiotherapists, Healthcare Executives, and other health care professionals who support/ care for U.S. active-duty service members, reservists, National Guardsmen, military veterans and their families.

Learning Objectives

  1. Summarize the functions and goals of VCoE.
  2. Identify key features and interventions for ocular injuries.
  3. Recognize the characteristics of visual dysfunction following Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
  4. Describe the impact of vision on readiness and performance.
