Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, social workers, counselors, and healthcare executives. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

  1. Define the purpose of the Clinical Communities in MHS High Reliability Organization (HRO) Operating Model.
  2. Identify two strategies to prepare for a women’s health humanitarian mission.
  3. Identify perinatal needs in the military population.
  4. Describe factors potentially increasing the risk of mental health problems during the perinatal period.

  7. Discuss the RHC-E access to sexual assault medical forensic examinations – Landstuhl Regional Medical Center SAMFE Mobile Team (SMT).
  8. Explain the consequences of maternal events from a patient and institutional lens.
