  1. Evaluate how head and spinal casualties are triaged in a war zone so that neurologic morbidity is limited. 
  2. Review recent cases treated at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center to understand how care is rendered. 
  3. Understand how to counsel patients and families regarding management of neurosurgical casualties downrange.
