Optimal Utilization of Military Behavioral Health Technicians: A Tri-Service Provider Training
This webinar is designed for providers and other personnel who work with Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) in DoD healthcare settings. It will discuss the role of BHTs in military healthcare, actions that can be taken by providers to optimize their use, and suggestions for on-the-job training and supervision of BHTs. It will also identify BHT training, assessment, and supervision resources.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for: physicians, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, psychologists, social workers, counselors, case managers, and healthcare executives. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

- Summarize rationale and best practices for optimally utilizing clinical skills of BHTs.
- Describe benefits of utilizing BHTs in deployed and other operational settings.
