Nutrition for Disordered Eating
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for registered dieticians and dietetic technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- State one neurobiological reason why the food neutrality approach is essential in supporting clients with disordered eating symptoms.
- Describe one strategy for providing nutrition education based on food neutrality.
- List one factor that contributes to development of an eating disorder.
- Provide two examples of potential physiological impacts of low energy availability.
