Infectious Mononucleosis, Active Component, U.S. Armed Forces, 2002–2018 

Target Audience

 

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, and health care executives. A certificate of attendance is also available to other attendees.

Learning Objectives

1. The reader will describe the patterns and trends in the incidence of diagnosed infectious mononucleosis (IM) among active component service members. 

2. The reader will estimate the morbidity and healthcare burden due to IM diagnoses among active component service members. 

3. The reader will explain how the rates of incident IM diagnoses among active component service members compare to those in the U.S. civilian population.
