Program Description

This is a live in-person event is for military ophthalmologist, optometrists, and staff of military refractive surgery centers. This event provides a venue for sharing educational topics among the product line. Subjects have been taken from input provided by military refractive surgery care givers and providers. Instructors are a mix of providers with more than five years of refractive surgery experience or residents providing evidence-based research and reports.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for: physicians and optometrists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Explain fundamental knowledge of the indications, risks, benefits and alternative of Corneal Crosslinking Plus.
  2. Discuss the abilities and consequences of Military Treatment Facilities to offer Refractive/Clear Lens Exchange.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to effectively counsel patients on all aspects of Implantable Collamer Lenses to include timing of bilateral or unilateral surgery.
