The Military Psychological Health Research Dissemination Series (MPHRDS) is a platform design to present impactful studies and share cutting-edge research and innovative practices in military psychology and mental health with Department of War (DoW) leaders, clinicians, and researchers.
This presentation reviews the factors influencing whether post-9/11 veterans successfully transition from the Military Health System (MHS) to the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). It highlights key physical and behavioral health predictors, identifies critical gaps in care continuity for vulnerable populations, and suggests strategies for practitioners and policymakers to improve this transition.

Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, physician associates/physician assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, healthcare executives social workers, and psychologists, across the Military Health System (MHS).
