MPHRDS: How Do Active-Duty Army Personnel View the Relationships Between Firearms and Suicide? The Role of Sociopsychological Factors, Firearm Ownership Status, and Lifetime History of Suicidal Thoughts and Behaviors

Target Audience

- Summarize how perceptions about firearms and suicide risk are viewed in a sample of Army personnel.
- Identify which sociopsychological factors are associated with beliefs about firearms and suicide risk.
- Describe how findings from the current study can be used to inform military suicide prevention efforts.
