Military Vestibular Assessment and Rehabilitation Advanced Conference – Fort Belvoir
This live, in-person course (located at Fort Belvoir) is designed for clinicians who have experience with assessing and treating individuals with vestibular hypofunction and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. The course provides advanced training in common complex disorders such as concussion, migraine, and Meniere’s disease; surgical and pharmaceutical interventions; psychogenic considerations; and other considerations when working with individuals with complex dizziness in the military. The Advanced Course features didactic instruction covering vestibular function test interpretation (Rotary Chair Testing, vHIT and VEMPs).

Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for physicians, athletic trainers, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, audiologists, physical therapists, and physical therapist assistants. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

- Design an approach to structure and enhance communication in an interdisciplinary care team to address patient goals and outcomes in an outpatient setting
