ForwardMilitary Injury Prevention Research to Practice Education Series: Mission Ready Science: How to Build, Sustain, and Transfer Skills for Military Performance
This series is designed to provide military medical providers and staff with information about a variety of topics related to injury and physical performance optimization. The series is managed and developed by the Military Injury Prevention Research to Practice Working Group. Each session features presentations from scientists or clinicians at key Department of War research and public health agencies that routinely focus on injury, physical performance, or health promotion.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, physician associates/physician assistants, psychologists, athletic trainers, physical therapists, and physical therapist assistants across the Military Health System (MHS). A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Describe the components of cognition impacting Warfighter cognitive performance.
- Explain the fundamentals of improving skill acquisition, retention and transfer of learning.
- Apply evidence-based strategies to improve Warfighter cognitive performance.
