MHS Conference: Enterprise Wide Privileging in the MHS: Implementation
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, dentists, dental hygienists, dental technicians, and healthcare executives across the Military Health System (MHS). A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Describe the strategic imperatives and operational challenges in developing policy and implementing EWP to enable transitioning providers to begin clinical care immediately or shortly following arrival to a new setting.
- Outline the process steps and tools needed in military medical treatment facilities (MTFs) and operational environments for EWP for active duty and civilian, as well as challenges specific to the reserve component.
- Identify key performance indicators and data metrics used to measure the effectiveness of EWP implementation.
- Summarize the challenges identified by key stakeholders and participants of EWP, as well as how the feedback informs process improvement.
