Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, dentists, dental hygienists, dental technicians, and healthcare executives across the Military Health System (MHS). A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe how the Defense Centers for Public Health-Dayton/USAF School of Aerospace Medicine's Epidemiology Consult Service utilized a phased feasibility assessment process to conduct the Missile Community Cancer Study providing Military Health System users the framework to better support cancer cluster concerns.
  2. Identify and utilize key DoW data sources for comprehensive case cluster analysis.
  3. Describe the Military Aviators Cancer Study (MACS) and opportunities for researchers to investigate occupational cancer risks using data from this cohort.
