At this joint symposium, DoDMERB will offer a single, 60 minute Continuing Medical Education (CME) event on a relevant medical accession topic.

  2. Summarize key research findings related to mental health impact of COVID-19 pandemic on current and future applicants to U.S. military enlistment, induction and commissioning programs.
  3. Demonstrate how a re-organization of mental health standards for accession can assist accession personnel to more rapidly and accurately identify mental health conditions, using the state of the art, standardized classification system in the DSM 5-TR.
