Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

  1. Describe the role of the clinical pharmacist in both preconception and contraception care.
  2. Explain the female menstrual cycle.
  3. Discuss available contraceptives.
  4. Outline current guidelines for contraceptive management.
  5. Summarize knowledge to apply to patient cases.
