The Management of Traumatic Glaucoma: Grace Under Pressure

This course will discuss a variety of presentations, diagnostic features, management and treatment options eye care providers must be aware of to best care for the individual experiencing cases of traumatic glaucoma.

  1. Identify and discuss the physiology of the eye and how it can be disrupted by trauma.
  2. Compare different causes of trauma induced glaucoma.
  3. Discuss management protocols for traumatic glaucoma including surgical and non-surgical interventions.
  4. Describe the proper emergent management of acute glaucomatous traumatic injury
