LTC Juanita Warman Nursing Grand Rounds 2025 Q1
Program Description:
This will be the third event of the LTC Juanita Warman Quarterly Nursing Grand Rounds. This event started as a Unit Practice Council initiative and was initially conducted as an annual conference. The decision to move from a one-day conference to quarterly grand rounds was made to meet the needs of the organization. The planning committee of the grand rounds seek to bring speakers of various expertise to help provide a diverse educational experience. We will have two speakers at this offering. The grand rounds are going to be held both in-person and on a virtual platform.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for nurses. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Know the definition of trauma informed care and how to assess for trauma in the patient
- Provide trauma informed care in the healthcare setting.
- Integrate strategies to become more mentally “tough”.
- Recall tools to improve your mental performance.

Nurses should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
