Leadership, Management, Mentorship: Roles, Boundaries, and Influence

This is a webinar organized by COL David Sensiba as mentorship lead for the 73A Community. It provides education on leadership fundamentals as it applies to the role of a Behavioral Health Officer within the military medical system.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for social workers. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Distinguish Leadership, Management, and Mentorship (LMM) by outlining their defining traits and describing how each contributes to professional development and mission execution.
  2. Analyze how LMM uses effective communication and professional relationships to cultivate and foster trust, enable growth, and influence mission accomplishment.
  3. Apply LMM principles by creating an actionable mentorship plan and identifying and identifying personal development needs to enhance mentor-mentee effectiveness within your organization.
