Infant Nutrition: Updates for the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
This interactive lecture guides registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) through the essentials of infant formula selection, focusing on the different types of formulas and when each is most appropriate. Participants gain practical tools to confidently support parents and caregivers in making feeding decisions that promote healthy growth. This session also covers the introduction of solid foods, tips for interpreting growth charts, and strategies for evaluating other key growth parameters in real world settings. In addition, it discusses practical approaches to managing pediatric gastroesophageal reflux with nutrition-focused solutions. This course is designed to build confidence and sharpen skills, ensuring RDNs feel equipped to support infants and families at every stage of early nutrition.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for registered dieticians and dietetic technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
