Home Study: APR 2022 CCSS: Military Children and Youth: Extending Force Protection to our Nation’s Most Valuable Assets

Program Description

This event highlights current evidence-based practices, policies, and recommendations and initiatives related to pediatric health care in the following areas: behavioral health, early developmental services, cardiogenetics, immunization and vaccines, early childhood development screeners, military community resources, ethics in pediatric medicine and social determinants of health. The educational content is created by pediatric subject matter experts (SME) in the ethical, research, academic and medical domains of the military and civilian health care sectors. The primary focus of this event aims to enhance the quality of patient outcomes and population health by providing advanced continuing education opportunities to improve the practice, skills, and knowledge of pediatric health care providers across the Military Health System (MHS).

    image DHA J-7 CEPO has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 8.00 hours of AAPA Category 1 CME credits. Physician assistants should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

    DHA J-7 CEPO is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing education.
