Program Description

Program Overview: Group Unified Protocol: Program Overview and Tips on Getting Up and Running is a course for mental health providers. It examines the theory of Unified Protocol for transdiagnostic treatment of emotional disorders. The course is divided into discussion sessions related to understanding and countering emotions. This is followed by an overview of the evidence-based implementation of GroupUP.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

  1. Analyze the underlying science, rationale, and theory supporting use of the Unified Protocol (UP) for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorder.
  2. Describe processes on how to deliver GroupUP to meet the needs of beneficiaries efficiently and effectively.
  3. Identify ideas for a successful clinic group care.
