FY25 Medical Teams Conference: Army Forensic Toxicology Program (AFTP) and DoD Drug Testing
Program Description:
During this conference, medical team will conduct briefings regarding patient care, patient administration, medical policy, deployment readiness, and medical logistics readiness. This specific session will provide an overview of the Army Forensic Toxicology Program (AFTP), emphasizing its mission to support the DoD Drug Demand Reduction Program, and enhance unit readiness.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, and physician associates/physician assistants. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the DoD Drug Demand and Deterrence Program (DDRP) across DoD.
- Integrate best practices for implementing random urine collection and timely review of positive urinalysis in the Drug and Alcohol Management Information System.
- Demonstrate awareness of compliance standards and best practices in military forensic toxicology operations.
