Federal Advanced Amputation Skills Training (FAAST) Home Study

Program Description

The Extremity Trauma and Amputation Center of Excellence (EACE) welcomes you to the 2021 Federal Advanced Amputation Skills Training (FAAST) Home Study.

As in years past, our program features a diverse group of experts in the field of amputation care and will highlight the importance of standardizing outcome measures to best assess patient progress in rehabilitation. The goal of this year’s training is standardization of DoD clinician understanding, implementation and interpretation of clinician selected outcome measures.  The event will focus on a core group of patient-reported and performance-based outcome measures, highlighting their importance, integration and standardization in clinical practice. Interactive questions will be dispersed throughout the presentation for learning checks and engagement.
