Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists and certified counselors. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Critically evaluate the code of ethics as it applies to military health care.
  2. Identify the benefits of using an ethical decision making model to decrease liability of ethical dilemmas.
  3. Define the 5 steps in using the ethical decision making model.
  4. Critique and Identify problems with using this model for use of ethical dilemmas.
  5. Apply the ethical decision making model to resolve ethical dilemmas.
  6. Assess and Analyze ethical dilemmas in the area of: Dual relationships, Confidentiality, Tele Behavioral treatments, and Serving multiple clients.
