ForwardEmployee and Patient Expectations Today and in 2040: An Intergenerational View
This comprehensive webinar explores the fundamentals of Intergenerational Theory, providing healthcare professionals and leaders with the insights needed to bridge the gap between younger and older demographics. Participants will examine the deeply held values driving generational behaviors and learn how these dynamics will shape patient expectations through the year 2040. By the end of this session, learners will be equipped with actionable strategies to mitigate age-related conflicts, enhance interdisciplinary team cohesion, and deliver highly effective, patient-centric care.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, physician associates/physician assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, social workers, psychologists, dentists, dental hygienists, dental technicians, healthcare executives, and project management professionals across the MHS. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Describe the basics of the Intergenerational Theory and how it applies to people in the work setting.
- Explain the basics of the Intergenerational Theory as it applies to patients today and in 2040.
- Differentiate between the younger and older generation and the conflicts the age difference causes.
