DPH Integration Summit: Tele-Behavioral Health (TBH) 15-OCT-2020

Program Description

This summit will provide Installation Directors of Psychological Health (IDPH) and Regional Directors of Psychological Health (RDPH) with guidance and resources to assist the development and implementation of tailored processes within established Commander's Readiness and Resilience Council's (CR2C’s).  This guidance will enable participants to effectively lead and integrate behavioral health (BH) resources at their location and maximize limited BH resources to better support Army and Army Family readiness.

Target Audience

Medical and mental health professionals. Specifically, psychiatrists, psychologists, psych nurse practitioners, social workers, and licensed counselors

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify the different forms of virtual health and how it applies to patient care.
  2. Describe best practices from provider and patient transitions from in-person care to tele-behavioral health care.
  3. Create different opportunities utilizing TBH as it is incorporated within your footprint.
  4. Critically evaluate processes, patients, and providers for tele-behavioral health services.

    As a Jointly Accredited Organization, DHA, J7, CEPO is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 1.00 continuing education credits.
