Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for dieticians and dietetic technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

  1. Describe how dietary supplements are regulated.
  2. Discuss key topics related to dietary supplements.
  3. Explain how Operation Supplement Safety (OPSS) is educating Service Members about dietary supplements.
  4. Review DoDI 6130.06: Use of Dietary Supplements in the DoD and substances on the DoD Prohibited Dietary Supplement Ingredients List.
