DHA New Facility Manager Course – March 2026
This training will provide DHA Facility Managers with strategic guidance to support Markets and MTFs across the enterprise. Participants will leverage DMLSS data to inform decision-making, develop effective Individual Development Plans (IDPs), and strengthen facility operations. The training will promote alignment with evolving Military Health System (MHS) priorities while fostering a shared understanding of system-wide changes.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for healthcare executives. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Identify the major roles and responsibilities of a DHA Facility Manager (FM).
- Outline the key roles and responsibilities of a Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization Portfolio Manager (SRM-PM).
- Analysis the operation and maintenance requirements for various building systems to include the required preventative maintenance intervals.
- Summarize the life cycle stages of a FM requirements package.
- Discuss the FM's role in Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) /LogiCole.

By attending this program offered by DHA, J-7, CEPO, participants may earn up to 17.50 American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Qualified Education hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation. Participants in this program who wish to have the continuing education hours applied toward ACHE Qualified Education credit must self-report their participation. To self-report, participants must log into their MyACHE account and select ACHE Qualified Education Credit.

Requirements: CE/CME certificates are awarded to participants who fully complete the activity, successfully submit the evaluation survey, and pass the posttest. The deadline to claim credit is Mar 20, 2026.
