DHA Group Practice Manager (GPM) Course

This educational activity hosted by the Healthcare Optimization Division (HOD) will provide Practice Managers, Group Practice Managers, Clinic Administrators, Health System Administrators, or other MTF leaders with the knowledge on basic concepts, principles, and applications of practice management and business planning. This live- virtual course is intended for both military and civilian personnel across the Military Health System. This educational activity will be hosted on Microsoft Teams once a quarter and material will be posted in both MS Teams and JKO-VCLASS.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, physician associates/physician assistants, and healthcare executives. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Improve delivery of care for patients in their clinics.
  2. Describe workflow efficiencies that improve access and outcomes.
  3. Identify metrics and dashboards that provide data regarding patient care and performance.
  4. Discuss the integral role of quality and safety as it affects the delivery of patient care.
  5. Summarize the collaboration of business practices to clinical care.
