Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, social workers, and psychologists. A certificate of attendance

Learning Objectives

  1. Discuss working with investigative/legal counsel and the Forensic Healthcare Examiner (FHE).
  2. Describe the limitations of the FHE’s scope of practice.
  3. Explain investigative requests and the use of evidence-based practice in forensic healthcare practices.
  4. Discuss the non-fatal strangulation history, documentation of any findings and relevant literature.
