Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses and physician assistants. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

  1. Describe the case/peer review requirements to include practical skills and tools for the forensic healthcare provider.
  2. Examine the forensic/sexual assault case presentation, management and outcome.
  3. Explain key elements and lessons learned from the cases presented.
  4. Discuss current mechanisms to communicate, monitor cases and problem solve.
