Program Description

This training focuses on building cultural competency for military behavioral health providers to include, Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers and Professional Counselors. Through the experiences and lessons learned from a Military Social Worker when working with the Afghan population, the training will address the challenges and meeting the needs of the population we are serving.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, social workers, certified counselors, and psychologists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
