RHCE 2019 Fall Medical Surgical Conference: Pediactrics: Day 3
This CE activity is provided by the DHA J-7 Continuing Education Program Office (CEPO). 1. Compare the effects of acute and chronic sleep deprivation.
2. Demonstrate interventions to improve sleep time.
3. Recognize the signs and symptoms of pathologic murmurs indicative of congenital and/or acquired heart
4. Review the indications for referral to a pediatric cardiologist.
5. Explain when to refer, when to follow up, and when to reassure with ingestion of Foreign Body (FB).
6. Recognize how to evaluate for aspiration of a FB.
7. Differentiate between primary and secondary headaches.
8. Identify “red flags” in patients presenting to primary care clinic and/or urgent/emergency room with headaches.
