Internal Behavioral Health Consultant (IBHC) - Pain and Depression

Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of psychologists and social workers who support/ care for U.S. active-duty service members, reservists, National Guardsmen, military veterans and their families.

  1. Describe the clinical cycle of pain and depression.
  2. Describe evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies when working with patients with comorbid pain and depression.
  3. Apply evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies for comorbid pain and depression to discussion of case-based clinical scenarios.
