Target Audience
This CE activity is accredited by the DHA J-7 Continuing Education Program Office (CEPO). Michelle Grant Ervin, MD Bethesda, MD | Dr. Michelle Grant Ervin received a Master’s degree in Health Professions Education (MHPE) and her medical degree from the Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine at the University of Illinois. She trained at Cook County Hospital and received Bioethics training from the MacLean Center for Bioethics at the University of Chicago. Dr. Grant Ervin’s interest in Palliative Medicine began in 1995 when she served as the Chair of the Emergency Department and a faculty member within the College of Medical Ethics Program at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Grant Ervin was then selected as a Project on Death in America Faculty Scholar from 1998-2000, where she received her introduction to and training in end of life care. Dr. Grant Ervin worked in various Hospice and inpatient Palliative Care settings as a Director and as an Associate Director. She has contributed to the developing body of work in Hospice and Palliative Medicine through speaking engagements, publications, and service on various professional boards. |
