Burnout in Healthcare

This course examines the complexities of occupational wellness by distinguishing between burnout, compassion fatigue, and moral injury. Participants will identify the internal and external risk factors that contribute to burnout at both the individual and systemic levels. Using proven conceptual frameworks, the course provides actionable strategies for promoting professional well-being and compares individual and organizational approaches to prevention and recovery.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physician associates/physician assistants, registered dieticians, dietetic technicians, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, physical therapist assistants, physical therapist assistants, project management professionals across the Military Health System (MHS). A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
