Target Audience

Learning Objectives
- Analyze disease processes of the hip suggested to be preosteoarthritic in nature, such as femoroacetabular impingement (FAI).
- Describe early diagnosis and treatment, to include surgical management, and its role in delaying degenerative changes.
- Illustrate what physical examination should include and review of imaging studies.
- Outline surgical treatment options available for hip disease.
- Explain how the Family Practice Physician Assistant (PA) can best incorporate this information to develop and improve current clinical practice.
