Army Pain Management ECHO Clinic: Hip Pain, 19 AUG 2021
Program Description
This series of Extension of Community Health Outcomes (ECHO) Clinics will cover methods, benefits, and outcomes of sharing specialized Pain management medical knowledge utilizing Project ECHO. The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Pain Management program worked with University of New Mexico’s (UNM) Project ECHO Office to adapt and replicate the UNM ECHO model in order to synchronize implementation of the Comprehensive Pain Management Campaign Plan (CPMCP) and to provide innovative support to Primary Care.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for psychologists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Explain the overall scope of clinical hip pain.
- Describe basic hip joint anatomy and biomechanics.
- Identify basic hip pain clinical examination components.
- Discuss common clinical hip problems and how they relate to evidence-based management.
