Army Nutrition Consultant Update

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for registered dieticians and dietetic technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify the mission and vision the Army Nutrition of Army Nutrition and the Nutrition and Dietitian Consultant Team.
  2. Explain the organization of the Navy dietetics community, where we are stationed, staffing, and resources we use.
  3. Discuss three priority areas for the Army Nutrition and Dietetics specialty.
  4. Comprehend Navy dietetics’ operational capabilities and how we are being utilized.
  5. State the five (5) areas of Dietetics that USAF (US Air Force) Registered Dietitians (RDs).
  6. Describe how the Air Force Medical Command (AFMEDCOM) reorganization impacts how USAF medical personnel relate to the Air Force/installation structure
