Target Audience

- Examine local protocols and procedures for conducting sick call operations

- Identify the importance of early application of Algorithm Directed Troop Medical Care (ADTMC)
- Perform a standardized assessment in arrhythmic formats utilizing the ADTMC
- Compare and contract Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Assessments
- Perform continued assessments for reevaluation and interventions
- Perform a standardized assessment in arrhythmic formats for special populations
- Discuss conditions in which drowning victims will change algorithms
- Demonstrate steps to manage a ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI)
- Define cardiovascular drugs and actions
- Describe respiratory management, including sedation
- Identify immediate field considerations for a hemorrhaging patient
- Describe the application of blood administration
- Describe the major characteristics of blood products
- Describe adverse patient reactions to blood transfusion
- Administer epinephrine for anaphylaxis
