48th Dental Squadron: Maxillofacial Prosthetics: Personalized Care
This month’s live course, “Maxillofacial Prosthetics: Personalized Care,” includes a lecture and discussion, as well as hands-on exposure to the fields of maxillofacial prosthetics and anaplastology.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for dentists, dental hygienists and dental technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Define maxillofacial prosthetics.
- Discuss the leadership and supportive roles held by the restorative dental clinician in the multidisciplinary hospital environment.
- Demonstrate teamwork with multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary medical members.
- Discuss ‘personalized care’ as it applies to the treatment planning and prosthetic fabrication for patients.
