2026 FEB CCSS HS S04: A Mission-Ready Force: The Strategic Imperative of Measuring Readiness in the Military Health System
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, physician associates/physician assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, optometrists, social workers, dentists, dental hygienists, dental technicians, athletic trainers, registered dieticians, dietetic technicians, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, kinesiotherapists, and healthcare executives. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Explain the “peacetime effect” and describe how it compromises medical readiness.
- Describe the Joint Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (JKSA) Clinical Readiness Program framework and summarize the purpose of each line of effort (knowledge, skills, clinical activity).
- Identify current measures of clinical readiness within the Military Health System (MHS) (including JKSA measures).
- Describe the key elements of a military-civilian partnership quality improvement program.
- Compare and contrast data capture options across key care settings and structured self-report, including tradeoffs in completeness, burden, and credibility.
