2026 European African Military Nursing Exchange
The European African Military Nursing Exchange (EAMNE), held 19–22 May 2026 in Garmisch, Germany, is a multinational continuing education event built around the theme “Excellence in Care, Advancing Readiness through Innovation.” The program brings together military nurses, advanced practice nurses, medics, leaders, and multinational partners to explore how innovation, resilience, forensic practice, and trauma training strengthen operational readiness across Europe, Africa, the United States, and partner nations. Featured sessions examine the creation of an international military nursing innovation network; the role of medical-martial creativity and unconventional resilience in austere care; and improvement of forensic photography consistency, injury visibility, and court readiness in sexual assault medical forensic examination. Together, these presentations address readiness from strategic, operational, and clinical perspectives by emphasizing evidence-based practice, collaboration, adaptability, and quality improvement.
