Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for: physicians, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, physical therapists, and physical therapist assistants. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify structural anatomy of the upper extremity.
  2. Examine possible nutrition targets that can impact the rehabilitation and recovery of musculoskeletal injuries.
  3. Identify signs of myofascial nerve compression and associated symptoms.
  4. Compare current state operations without the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) System and the future state of operations with the H2F System.
  5. Develop treatment strategies for myofascial nerve compression.
  6. Utilize treatment strategies for myofascial nerve compression to improve working at a computer desk, lifting weights, or complete an Army obstacle course.
  7. Summarize key takeaways and current trends in Navy Musculoskeletal (NMSK) medicine.
  8. Interpret study reports with greater acuity and educate patients on results.
  9. List key concerns for soldiers who have experienced a musculoskeletal injury.
  10. Differentiate between the intent of the Army military health system (MHS) and the H2F System.
