Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, social workers, psychologists, dentists, dental hygienists, dental technicians, registered dieticians, dietetic technicians, certified counselors, healthcare executives. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Articulate why gifts are an ethics issue.
  2. Recognize a conflict of interest issue.
  3. Comprehend that new DoD/DHA employees cannot participate on matters where their former non-Government employer is a party for two full years.
  4. Discuss generally what conduct the Post Government Employment restrictions prohibit.
  5. Summarize when to disqualify when seeking employment.
