Program Description

In this session, participants will understand the strategy to integrate virtual health capabilities into the health care delivery model in both garrison and operational environments to meet the Military Health System's Quadruple Aim. DHA's organizational transformation has enabled the synchronization of a robust portfolio of capabilities to leverage virtual health locally, regionally, and globally.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, dentists, psychologists, and healthcare executives.  A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Outline the strategy to leverage virtual health locally, regionally, and globally with a robust portfolio of capabilities to serve beneficiaries, in both garrison and operational settings.
  2. Identify the robust portfolio of virtual health resources available to the field, divided into three capability categories: patient‐to‐provider, provider‐to‐provider, and complex real‐time monitoring technologies.
  3. Summarize future plans for virtual health priorities to include MHS Video Connect, and Enterprise Tele‐Critical Care.
