CAPTAIN ADAMARIS RIVERA SANTIAGO
Capt. Adamaris Rivera Santiago is currently the Chief of the Joint Refill Processing Center for the 59th Medical
Diagnostics and Therapeutics Squadron (MDTS) at Lackland Air Force Base (AFB), Texas. Capt. Rivera oversees the
largest refill center in the United States Air Force (USAF). She manages a budget of $55 million, while supervising
twenty one pharmacy personnel daily, filling over 13K weekly.
Capt. Rivera Santiago attended University of Puerto Rico, earning a Bachelor of Industrial Microbiology degree. She
graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University with a Pharmacy Doctoral Degree in 2016. She then entered
retail pharmacy and worked as the Staff Pharmacist at a community pharmacy. In April 2018, she directly commissioned
as a Captain in the United States Air Force, and completed Commissioned Officer Training in June 2018. Capt. Rivera
Santiago has served 27 months while stationed at JBSA Lackland AFB.
